HOW TO: Stop a Website from being reload or re-directed to a New Webpage in Mozilla Firefox.

It is very essential for the user to take control of the browser and web-site they choose to visit or else when the user tries to visit to favorite site but instead re-directed to some ad-ware site might land them into trouble. Or when the in between of transaction you are not supposed to reload the page or the transaction might fail.

To prevent from such silly doings, Firefox has built-in option which will warn users when the page is re-directed or tries to re-load. To activate this 3 step feature,

STEP 1: Goto Firefox > Options

STEP 2: Goto to Advanced Tab

STEP 3: In General Tab, Under Accessibility, tick third option if it is un-ticked and click on OK.

Now, when ever the pages tries to re-load or re-direct, you get a prompt like this.
